Our Story
About Denyell
I grew up in Colorado Springs, CO. My parents gave me my first camera when I was 5 years old. The first pictures that I took where that of my posters and my stuffed animals, arranging them in perfect order. I remember taking my film to the store and waiting patiently for days to see my photos.
From that moment, I have been a fan of all kinds of art. Growing up my passion was photography, painting, drawing, and sculpturing. I love how art, no matter the type, invokes a variety of emotions. In history art has brought tears to our eyes, has brought a smile to our face, and has healed a troubled heart. It takes us away from our worries and uncovers our deepest desires.
Life has taken me in many different directions but no matter where it leads me I have always enjoyed taking pictures. I enjoy looking back on pictures that I have taken and experiencing the emotions all over again. I believe that pictures create life's timeline. They take us back to those moments before the internet and before the video camera. A surreal pause of history. This thought led to our motto, "There every step of the way..." because whether it be maternity photos or a couple's 25th or 50th anniversary photos FootPrint Photography would like to share in making history last for years to come.
I have recently graduated with a Bachelors in Business Management, however my true passion is and always will be doing photos. I live in a small city outside of Denver, CO. I am married (to Joe), have a one younger sibling, and a little dog named "Mewes"!
I have had the privledge of doing photos of weddings, charity events (Webster Lake Relay for Life), families, children, birthday parties, and anniversaries. I have also been given the opportunity to work with 8th Element Entertainment (www.8thelement.net), a local independent record label, featuring an array of music artist such as No 1 Left Standing, Mista Poedic, NexKin, Young Jay & Fame, and Menice. We have partnered together under 8FootPrints Media, a division of 8th Element Entertainment.

About Joe
I grew up in Arvada CO. Growing up I was Mr. Social. I always loved helping out a friend and giving advice. It seemed that I just couldn't have enough friends, I just loved being around people. Denyell and I met when I was a senior in high school and at first I didn't plan on it evolving into a marriage, however it turns out she was one of the best things that has ever happened to me.
I still keep in contact with people from high school including teachers, I know it is weird but it is something that I like to do. You just never know when they may need someone or you may need them. Which is why I operate the marketing aspect of the FootPrint Photography because I can talk to anyone.
I currently work for the airlines, and "no" I cannot get you a buddy pass :), but love to fly and love to talk about the different places that I have flown to with other customers. Of course, anyone who knows me well, knows that I am a HUGE Disney fan. In fact you could really call me a FANATIC!!! This is one destination that I love to talk about and doesn't get old to talk about. I am always counting down the days until the next time that I am able to go to Disney.
